YOU ONLY NEED THESE 3 THINGS TO CREATE WEALTH

A certain day, many years ago, I woke up in the morning and decided to take stock of my life.

In so doing, I realized that every aspect of my life was moving on fine and fast, but my financial life wasn’t.

This realization put me in a state of depression and I began to cry out to God for help.

I began to ask myself what exactly was required of me to create long-lasting wealth.

In my bid to get answers to those questions, I began to carry out research.

I read books, listened to messages, prayed, and gathered every piece of information I could on wealth creation.

I also began to learn from great men of old and wealth creation experts, I studied the life of wealthy people both in the past and the present.

I spent more than 8 months on this research which has since become a habit for me.

After learning all that I could, I turned to God, the giver of wealth, who then opened me up to new discoveries.

At the end of my research, I learned so many things.

I came out of that experience knowing exactly the things I needed to do to create wealth and change my financial situation forever.

I started to put all the things that I had learned into practice and then I began to produce tremendous results.

One thing I believe is that it is important that everyone who has learned a principle and has been able to produce results through it must teach it to others.

I had the mandate to share what I had learned and teach people what they needed to know in order to create wealth, and that’s exactly what I did.

You see, our world is governed by principles and the principles of wealth creation are universal and have existed for thousands of years.

The principles of wealth that King Solomon applied is the same principle of wealth that a 21st-century billionaire applied.

Although wealth creation principles are universal, their application is personal, contextual, and geographical.

Meaning that the way you apply the principles of wealth creation depends on personal reasons or your personality, relates to the circumstances that form an event in your life, and will be influenced by the clime you live in.

Before we go into the 3 things that will help you create wealth, I wrote a book called the School of money, it’s a blueprint for entrepreneurs and for anyone who wishes to create wealth.

3 Simple steps to becoming wealthy

Now, I know I said 3 ‘simple’ steps, these steps are not as simple as they seem, but I can guarantee that they will transform your life completely.

1. Financial Intelligence

It is estimated that the average person will spend 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime. But the problem is that while people can work for over 10,20,30 years of their lives, they refuse to do what it takes for them to learn about money.

Don’t spend all your life chasing after money, taking job shift after job shift, slaving away in the rat race that you ignore acquiring financial education.

Ignorance is not a demon, you cannot cast it out, the only solution to it is knowledge acquisition and application.

Go for training, attend seminars, take courses, read books, and always be learning and gaining financial education.

You see, you need more than academic education to be financially intelligent.

School can only teach you how to read and write, school won’t teach you how to make, manage and multiply money.

You need to be intentional about gaining and implementing financial education.

Take a look at professors and some academically qualified people, how many of them are billionaires?

Take a look at people who work in financial institutions and manage other people’s money, how many of them are wealthy?

Acquiring information alone without deliberately applying what you learn cannot make you wealthy.

Being intentional about your personal development and learning about finances is the key to creating wealth.

2. Financial Planning

If you fail to plan, you have chosen to fail. You need to plan your finances.

The only way to get to where you want to be is to identify where you currently are.

There are 3 things to do when it comes to planning your finances: The first thing is to take stock of where you currently are financially, just like I did back then.

If you do not take stock of your current financial situation, you will not be able to navigate your way to your desired destination.

The next thing is to determine your destination. If you do not know where you are going, you will never get there.

The last thing is to choose your vehicle, whether that is real estate, entrepreneurship, investments, etc.

3. Financial Discipline

Now that you have gained financial intelligence and you have a solid plan, the next thing is to discipline yourself.

But unfortunately, many people struggle with financial discipline.

Just because you have 20 million naira doesn’t mean you can afford to buy that latest car.

You need to be disciplined with your money. If it’s not in the budget, forget about it. Stop allowing your emotions to rule you.

Will you be disciplined enough to stick to your financial plan? This is the question you need to ask yourself.
